Main Topics:
The main program will consist of a total of ~ 30 hours of lectures covering the following range of topics:
- Molecular Astrophysics: spectroscopy and chemical processes.
- Chemistry of the Interstellar Medium: dust and gas
- Physical processes of the Interstellar Medium.
- Molecular clouds and star formation.
- Circunstellar envelopes.
- Protoplanetary disks.
- Dust emission in the universe.
- Millimeter Observations and Calibration Techniques: Single dish and Interferometers.
- MM-instrumentation: Continuum Cameras and Spectrometers.
These lectures will be complemented by shorter lectures on instrumentation, observing techniques, and data processing.
In addition, the students, lecturers and technical assistants will form small groups, to work on one topic, preparing a science case, reduce mm-data, and present the results on the last day of the school.
