To call from a public telephone you need to buy a telephone card popularly known as LADATEL. To call a mobile from Mexico City from a public telephone you need to put 045 (if you are in Mexico City) or 044 (if you are in Puebla) followed by the 10-digit number. To call the landline from a public telephone follow the instructions on the phonebooth. Wifi service is available at the waiting lounge of the bus as well as inside the bus. So you may be able to use your smartphone options for communication (SMS, whatsApp, skype etc.).
