Research and Technological Development

The Directorate of Research and Technological Development contributes to the academic, scientific, and technological development performed at the INAOE to meet the institutional objectives and goals. The Directorate is the nodal point of linking the four substantive functions of the INAOE; scientific research, technological development, the creation of human resources, as well as the dissemination of science, to include government, industry, academia and civil society. This is achieved via the generation of scientific and technological projects that have an impact on of solving problems in the country, the development of knowledge and the application of technology, as well as scientific research with social and international relevance.
