Half week trips

These places can be reached by road from here (Puebla, Cholula or Tonantzintla) in a few hours. Recommend minimun stay is three days. In all cases, buses run frequently from Puebla bus station (CAPU).

MEXICO CITY:

Obvious target given that most of you are expected to land in its airport. Alternatively, bus services run between Puebla (CAPU) and Mexico City (TAPO) most of the day every 10 minutes. Journey takes under 2 hours if the traffic is generous in the city.

We would need a hole book to tell you everything to see there: Zocalo, city centre, museo de arqueologia, Coyoacan, San Angel, ...

TEOTIHUACAN:

An infinite number of short tours to Teotihuacan can be found from Puebla or Mexico City. You can get there by car without actually entering Mexico City. Ask us.

OAXACA:

Reached in less than 4 hours by road from here. Exquisite colonial city. We recommend the zocalo, plaza de Santo Domingo and the food.

From Oaxaca you must visit Mitla and Monte Alban (better in that order).

VERACRUZ:

Place where Hernán Cortez landed in 1519. The port of Veraruz is very lively and a good place for sea food. Reached by road in under 5 hours.
