TeV results on SNRs and Unidentified sources

Stephen Fegan
Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory

I will present a summary of recent TeV observations of SNRs and Unidentified EGRET sources. Particular attention will be paid to observations of the Crab Nebula, the shell SNRs detected by CANGAROO and the detection of Cas A by the HEGRA collaboration. I will also discuss upper limits on TeV gamma-ray emission from gamma-Cygni, IC443, W44 and Cas A based on observations taken with the Whipple 10m telescope. Results of recent observations by the Whipple collaboration of the unidentfied EGRET sources GEV J1907+0556 and 3EG J2227+6122 as well as CG135 and CTA1 will be presented. I will also discuss the third generation of TeV gamma-ray experiments with emphasis on VERITAS.
