The conference will be held in Cozumel, the largest, and one of the most  beautiful, islands in the Mexican Caribbean.  Cozumel is located just 12 miles  off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula and it is well known for the  breathtaking beauty of its underwater coral reefs.  It is reputed to be one of the world's best places for diving and snorkeling.

Cozumel has an international airport, where flights from several North American and European cities arrive. If these flights do not suit you, Cancun International airport covers a wide variety of destinations.
 
 

The venue for the Symposium will be the Park Royal Hotel, a resort located just across the beach, in the southern part of the island.  Registration, welcoming reception, closing banquet, and all scientific sessions will be held at the Park
Royal.  We have arranged very attractive rates for the event.  This resort operates under an "all inclusive" plan, which includes 3 daily meals. Cocktails, beer, and other beverages, as well as snacks, are available anytime -from 11 am till the midnight. All taxes and tips are also included.

We have blocked 100 rooms on the Hotel Park Royal, they will be assigned on  the first come first serve basis.
