INAOE and Museos Puebla Sign Collaboration Agreement
Strengthening ties and developing collaborative projects are two of the objectives of the collaboration agreement signed on Tuesday, April 1, by the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics, and Electronics (INAOE), a center coordinated by the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (Secihti), and Museos Puebla, a decentralized public agency of the Government of the State of Puebla.
The formal ceremony was presided over by Dr. Julián David Sánchez de la Llave, Interim Director General of INAOE, who welcomed the attendees, and by Dr. Josefina Farfán Ortega, Director of Museos Puebla.
Also present at the ceremony was Oscar Alejo García, Director of Cultural Management.
Representing INAOE were Dr. Claudia Feregrino Uribe, in charge of the affairs of the INAOE Research and Technological Development Directorates; Dr. José Ramón Valdés, Astrophysics Coordinator; Janina Nava Ariza, INAOE Institutional Liaison Office; and Alejandro Serrano Núñez, who is in charge of the Guillermo Haro Museum.
The work program included an institutional presentation on INAOE by Dr. Claudia Feregrino Uribe. Dr. Josefina Farfán Ortega, Director of Museos Puebla, spoke about the organization she directs. Prior to the signing of the agreement, attendees exchanged ideas and discussed possibilities for collaboration and future actions.
As part of the day's activities, guests from Museos Puebla visited the Guillermo Haro Museum and the Schmidt Chamber. In the latter space, they were welcomed by Dr. José Ramón Valdés Parra.
