INAOE and ICATEP sign a collaboration agreement

On November 3, the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE), a research center of the National Council of Humanities, Sciences and Technologies (Conahcyt) and the Work Training Institute of the State of Puebla (ICATEP) signed a framework collaboration agreement.

The objective of the agreement is to consolidate institutional collaboration and open the opportunity of ICATEP certified courses to INAOE workers. The document was signed by Dr. Edmundo Antonio Gutiérrez Domínguez, General Director of INAOE, and Lic. David Jonathan Salazar Mendiguchía, director of ICATEP.
Also present at the formal ceremony of signing the agreement were ICATEP Daniel Gómez Ocaña, Director of Liaison; Sandra Padilla, private assistant to the general director and Alicia Lázaro Muñoz, head of Liaison at ICATEP San Pedro Cholula.
On behalf of the INAOE, Dr. Francisco Javier Renero Carrillo, in charge of the affairs of the Directorate of Academic Training, was present; Dr. Bertha Patricia Guzmán Velázquez, in charge of the Office of Institutional Liaison and Planning; Engineer Manuel Escobar Aguilar, general secretary of SUTINAOE; Ms. Yenni María Carpinteyro Tlapanco, Lic. Edgar Muñoz Palomino, Dr. Agustín Márquez Limón and María Esther Montes Tecanhuey, members of the Joint Training, Training and Productivity Commission.
As background, public servants from both institutes have met on several occasions to work in coordination on upcoming training courses.
