Art afternoons at INAOE

With the aim of disseminating and sharing accessible activities related to artistic productions and scientific and technological knowledge with people with disabilities or visual weakness and the deaf community, on September 28, the first Art Afternoon was held at the INAOE.


This activity is organized by the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics through the Department of Posgraduate Studies and the Office of Educational Innovation and Teacher Training.


The activities took place from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the INAOE information center.
The program was made up of the dance presentation “A light in the darkness”, a workshop on approaching the braille writing system, the presentation of the book written in braille, The Bag, a sonification, a demonstration of cyanotype, and a concert by a flute ensemble.

Next event will be on Saturday, October 21.
