From September 19 to 22, the Electronics and Advanced Design Seminar will be held

Santa María Tonantzintla, Puebla, September 6, 2023. Micro and nanoelectronics, integrated circuit design, high frequency systems, communications and instrumentation, and wireless communications for the Internet of Things, are some of the topics that renowned researchers will address in the Electronics and Advanced Design Seminar, which will be held at the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE) from September 19 to 22.

The Electronics and Advanced Design Seminar, which this year reaches its thirteenth edition, has become a benchmark thanks to the careful selection of speakers who have presented the most important advances to date in the different areas of Electronics.

In an interview, Dr. Roberto Murphy Arteaga, researcher at the INAOE Electronics Coordination and organizer of the Seminar, pointed out that the objective of the Seminar is to disseminate among undergraduate, graduate and professional students, topics of modern electronics, and what can be do through the experiences that experts in the field will share.

“We invite researchers from outside the INAOE to talk about what they do in the area and give attendees an idea of the prospects for work, research, and innovation. This helps a lot, first, to foster interest in modern Electronics, and second, to train highly prepared human resources,” he noted.

Asked about the topics that will be addressed at the Seminar, Dr. Murphy stated: “All Electronics topics are important right now, but something that possibly stands out is the use of wireless communications for the Internet of Things, and the design, manufacturing and improving electronic devices for a wide range of applications, as well as the use of artificial intelligence.”

He added that the Seminar has no admission cost, it will be held from September 19 to 22 at the INAOE in Tonanzintla from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program will be made up of keynote lectures that prominent scientists will give in person and virtually.
