Meet our researchers: Dr. Denise Estrada Wiese
In recent years, very young researchers have joined the various INAOE areas enriching the scientific life of our institution.
Today we resume the series "Meet our researchers" to talk about some of them. On this occasion we present Dr. Denise Estrada Wiese, who came to the Electronics Coordination as a tenured A researcher in 2022.
Dr. Estrada Wiese studied Physics at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos, obtained a master's degree also in Physics at the Institute of Renewable Energies of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and in 2018 obtained her doctorate at the Autonomous University of Mexico. Morelos State.
She did a post-doctorate at the Barcelona Microelectronics Institute.
Her lines of research are silicon-based photonic devices, electrophotonic integrated circuits and thermoelectric materials and generators. Dr. Estrada Wiese has several research articles to her credit and is the co-author of a book.
