TolTEC Comissioning News
TolTEC achieved a major milestone in late December 2022 by collecting some comissioning data on bright objects we are still processing and learning from. While the data is not yet science quality and we cannot yet give a definitive answer on key issues such as mapping speed, it has produced some beautiful images we would like to share with you.
More comissioning is to be done in early 2023 to fully characterize the camera un all its mapping modes and start the scientific data campaign.
