Researchers from the United States, France and Argentina visit INAOE
Last Tuesday, July 5, the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics received the visit of Dr. Morgan Kitani, from Texas Christian University, and doctors Sampathkumar Veeraraghavan, President of the IEEE Humanitarian Activities Committee; Lionel Trojman, from the Higher Institute of Electronics in Paris, and Marcelo Fabián Agüero, Coordinator of the SIGHT Group of the Argentine Section of the IEEE.
Dr. Daniel Durini, Director of Research and Technological Development of the INAOE, gave them a brief institutional presentation. Afterwards, the guests toured different areas such as the upper floor of the LIMEMS, where various laboratories of the Electronics Coordination are located, and the Aspherical Surfaces Laboratory. In this last space, Dr. David Gale explained the work being carried out there for the Alfonso Serrano Large Millimeter Telescope.
