INAOE, the Mexican Space Agency and Orolia sign a collaboration agreement

Last June 14th, 2022, the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE), the Mexican Space Agency (AEM) and the company Orolia signed a collaboration agreement for the use of the Skydel software, which will allow the continuation of the work of research and development in satellite positioning systems that are carried out in the specialty of Space Science and Technology.

The collaboration agreement was signed by Dr. Edmundo Antonio Gutiérrez Domínguez, General Director of INAOE; M. C. Carlos Roberto Duarte Muñoz, General Coordinator of Human Capital Training in the Space Field of the AEM, and Dr. Robert Burke, Director of Business Development of Orolia.

Among the authorities that attended the event were Ing. Mario Arreola Santander, Director of Dissemination of Space Science and Technology of the AEM; Dr. Daniel Durini, Director of Research and Technological Development (DIDT); Dr. Patricia Guzmán Velázquez, Responsible for Outreach and Project Management; Dr. José Ramón Valdés Parra, Astrophysics Coordinator; doctors José Guichard Romero, Sergio Camacho Lara and Rogerio Enríquez, INAOE researchers, and Mtra. Janina Nava Ariza, from DIDT.
