Synthesis
The National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt), the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE) and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) will offer a press conference on innovative results of the Milky Way Telescope Collaboration Event Horizon (EHT).
The press conference will feature an opening speech by the general director of Conacyt, Dr. Maria Elena Álvarez-Buylla Roces; later, authorities and researchers from INAOE and UNAM will present the new results. Finally, other Mexican researchers from the EHT will answer questions from the press.
The announcement of the innovative results will be at 8:07 am, immediately after which a press release will be issued, along with extensive supporting multimedia material.
