6:00 p.m. Lecture "The spring equinox". Speaker: Dr. Aldo Batta Márquez (Astrophysics Coordination, INAOE).
Abstract: The phenomenon of the equinox will be approached from the point of view of astronomy, describing in detail the theoretical and observational elements that define it, as well as its importance in the seasonal cycle of planet Earth.
7:00 p.m.: Conference “The James Webb Space Telescope: all good, so far”. Speaker: Dr. Omar López Cruz (Coordination of Astrophysics, INAOE).
Abstract: The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), the largest space telescope to date, is described. Innovations in design, instrumentation, and science that have motivated the JWST are explained. The possibility of generating an observation mode in the JWST as a vortex telescope for the study of exoplanets will be commented on.

6:00 p.m. Conference "Equinoctial orientations in pre-Hispanic and New Spain architecture". Speaker: Dr. Arturo Gómez Ruíz (Coordination of Astrophysics, INAOE).
Abstract: This talk will discuss astronomical orientations in pre-Hispanic and Novo-Hispanic architecture, placing special emphasis on examples of alignments towards equinoctial dates of buildings in the central highlands of Mexico.
7:00 p.m. Presentation of the new releases of the Citizen's Scientific Library. Speaker: Dr. Omar López Cruz (Coordination of Astrophysics, INAOE).
